Why you can check us
The Code on Wages came into force on 21 November 2025 and redefined wages so basic and DA must be at least half of your remuneration. The Income-tax Act 2025 took effect on 1 April 2026 and renumbered 819 sections into 536. Every figure we publish is computed from a dataset carrying its source, its licence and the date somebody last read the statute behind it — and that date is printed on the page. Where we have not read a statute yet, we say so instead of guessing.
